Spring Swing #2: April 16-17

April 16 and 17th marked a trip back to Commerce City to play another 13U Division 2 tournament. Even though AAA and AA are intended to play in this tournament, a few major level teams decided to play down and BombSquad was up for the challenge. We fought hard through 3 games and again made it to the 1/4 finals. We gave up a few runs which made it a bit easier for the Terminators to come out on top. Again, the BombSquad are true contenders in this division. Watch out when our fuse ignites!

The Elite League begins!

April 12th marked the first Elite League game for the BombSquad. Bear Creek was our competitor, another 12 Majors team. BombSquad fought a tight game with a final score of 7-5 favoring the Bear Creek Bandits. We will meet the Bandits again....watch the bombs fly then!!

Spring Swing #1: April 9-10

BombSquad played in their 3rd tournament of the year in Commerce City. The team opted to play in the 13 and Under Division 2 which includes AAA and AA teams. The boys fought some hard battles and played tough to hold these teams within just a few runs. They made it all the way to the 1/4 finals! Nice work boys!!

BombSquad fans are the BOMB!

March Madness is for Baseball too!

Dakota Rigde Baseball hosted March Madness and BombSquad was nothing but net! Well in baseball terms we could only say, "Going, going, gone!" We competed in the 13AA division to better prepare us and competed against some tough teams. We learned teamwork, strategy and practiced a fighting mentality. BombSquad made it to the championship round and came out on top! Another tournament win under our belt.

12 and Under Greeley Champs

BombSquad hits the field with their first tournament of the season, playing in Greeley, CO. The boys took control of the fields on Saturday, March 5 beating 3 teams to qualify for the early morning game on Sunday. BombSquad beat the Bear Creek Bandits which enabled them to move to the championship round a few hours later. The boys ended up playing the Bear Creek Bandits again and pulled out a victory. (6-4 I believe) Way to go BombSquad!!

The 2011 Season begins!

BombSquad has kicked off the 2011 season with pre-season scrimmages against area teams. We played 4 games, rotated players in all positions, and worked to get the pre-season jitters out.
