Battle at the Fort: May 7-8

Battle at the Fort began with an early morning game against Pro Swing. BombSquad came out swinging and won 11-3. Second game immediately followed against the Double Angels. The boys had an on day and came out with yet another win at 9-0. These 2 wins, out of 16 teams, put us at the 3rd seed with GJ Mavs and Loveland Bambinos in the 1st and 2nd seed spot.

BombSquad hit the second day running but came up a bit short against the Grand Junction Mavs. The team lost 8-2 after an off day of hitting against an incredible team.

BombSquad vs. Rocky Mtn Outlaws

Time to battle in Broomfield! BombSquad took on the Rocky Mountain Outlaws on Thursday May 5th. BombSquad came out strong scoring 4 runs within the first couple of innings. The Outlaws came battling back tying up the game at 4-4. The boys rallied and came out strong bringing in an additional 5 runs to win the game 9-4. BombSquad takes a day off and then heads to Fort Collins on the 7th for the Battle of the Fort! Good luck boys!!

With a win from the Triple Crown Baseball Bash, BombSquad has earned a berth to the Triple Crown World Series tournament to be held in Park City, UT.

Triple Crown Baseball Bash: Day 2

Day 2 brought us a #3 seed and games starting at 3:15. We were up against the #2 seed, the Dawgs. After a tight game the day prior, BombSquad had to fight and pull together as a team. The boys came out on top with a 5-2 win, putting them in the championship game against the Broomfield Lightening. With only a 15 minute break to pack up and move fields, the boys geared up and were ready to battle! BombSquad came out on fire, hitting and fielding to pull out the 11-3 win!!

Triple Crown Baseball Bash

April 30 brought the BombSquad 2 games in the 12 and Under Division 1 Triple Crown tournament. Game 1 was a nail biter against the Aurora Dawgs Baseball Club. BombSquad struggled but pulled out a 10-9 win in the final inning. Second game was against the Brighton Bears. BombSquad beared the cold but couldn't pull out the win and came up short by 2 runs.
