Our road to the final 8 ended today with a tough loss to the USA Stars out of California. This team was outstanding and is known for winning Cooperstown World Series,a Nevada World Series and is ranked as a top 12 year old team in the country. The first inning caught us by surprise and BombSquad just couldn't seem to rebound. Great job to the entire team for remaining strong, focused, and never giving up. A true demonstration of TEAMWORK! Great season to all!!

World Series: BombSquad vs. Louie Sluggers Red
Our 4 pm game was against the #13 seed out of Chandler, AZ. This team had played 2 games previous to ours, beating 2 top seeded teams. We had a tough first inning but fought our way back to take the lead. The Sluggers too came out strong, taking the lead of which we could never gain back. Sluggers earned this victory at 11-6.
World Series: BombSquad vs. Spanish Fork Xtreme
So today marks the start of bracket play. We came in to the day as the #1 seed which is most exciting. This allowed us a bye this morning and then a game at 2pm. The boys played the Spanish Fork Xtreme from Spanish Fork, UT. The 4-3 victory pushed us to a 4pm game. (without the win we would have been placed in the lower portion of the losers bracket and play lots more games to work our way back up!) Good job BombSquad!

Bus Ride...Opening Ceremonies....Team Parade
We all decided to hop on the local bus and give the kids a wild experience. Wild it was! How many BombSquad players, families and locals can fit in a Park City shuttle? Take a look and start counting.
After our crowded but safe arrival, the players did somey pin trading and then lined up for the Triple Crown Team Parade down Main Street....I think they walked a total of 3 whole blocks!! Fun it was.
Boys are off to bed with the first of many games to come. Activity starts at 10am on Tuesday.

Nothing to be ashamed of....we are in the top 4 teams in the State. Way to go!!
